The poetic text by Erri De Luca (Feltrinelli ed.) recalls the moment when Miriàm/Mary, a young girl from Galilee, after a “strange” vision in which an angel announces that she will have a child and foretells a destiny of greatness for him, realizes that she is pregnant.
Miriàm/Mary shares her intimate experience with us: her story remains mysterious and sacred, and her “voice” conveys the wonderful simplicity of a courageous femininity, the human grace of a destiny that encompasses and surpasses her.
