“Pimpa’s Christmas in the Library”
Exhibition celebrating Pimpa’s 50th anniversary during Christmas
What a joy to celebrate Christmas this year with Pimpa, the charming little dog created by Altan 50 years ago, who has accompanied generations of children with her stories!
At the Library, a special exhibition awaits children and their families with a creative and original setup. The exhibition is divided into two sections: the first features large panels that trace the history of the beloved character and offer various activities through which children can express their creativity by playing with comics, words, and drawings; the second allows young readers, the true protagonists of the exhibition, to step into a winter story with Pimpa and her friends (at child height!) joyfully populating a snowy landscape. Santa Claus is also on his way, and meanwhile, children can sit by the fireplace with Armando to listen to and read stories.

Special events of the exhibition:
− Wednesday, December 10 at 4:30 PM TOGETHER AMONG PIMPA’S BOOKS, organized by NpL volunteer readers of Lignano Sabbiadoro;
− Thursday, December 11 at 4:30 PM LET’S MAKE CHRISTMAS!, creative workshop by Ass. Maga Camaja;
− Tuesday, December 16 at 4:30 PM PIMPANTE PARTY, readings and creative workshops for Pimpa’s 50th anniversary, organized by Damatrà;
− Monday, December 22 at 4:30 PM CHRISTMAS AMONG THE PAGES, organized by Cl.Hub del libro of Lignano Sabbiadoro.

The exhibition, created and curated by Franco Cosimo Panini Editore in collaboration with Hamelin Cultural Association, Anna Ferri, Francesco Tullio Altan, and Quipos, was developed for Lignano together with the Municipal Library of Lignano Sabbiadoro.
The exhibition can be visited during the Library’s opening hours:
Monday to Friday 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM, Thursday also 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, excluding holidays.
