In Lignano Sabbiadoro, Epiphany is celebrated with an ancient ritual full of tradition: a large good-luck bonfire lit directly on the sand, right by the winter sea. A unique and evocative moment where the glow of the fire reflects on the waves, creating an atmosphere you won’t forget.

As every year, the Lignano Sabbiadoro Alpini Group sets up the bonfire and organizes a small refreshment area. And for the joy of young and old alike, the Befana also makes an appearance… and here she doesn’t fly, but arrives from the sea, making this tradition even more magical and surprising!
